Supporting local economies

Ringway/Eurovia provides essential services to the public, and we support local economies and the wider community in various ways.

Our policy is to employ our own people where practicable, so we recruit locally, train our employees, and foster a diverse, skilled and motivated workforce.

Our approach to procurement is flexible and balanced – it recognises the benefits of supporting local economies as well as achieving economies of scale. Like national providers, local companies are assessed for best value – including quality, whole-life cost and environmental impact – not just price.

Ringway/Eurovia people and our partners also support local communities through volunteering and fund-raising activities as well as donations from the company and The Vinci Foundation.

We deal with the public every day. Our people and our supply chain are ambassadors of our clients, and Ringway/Eurovia, as we present a single identity to the public. So we must always act in a professional and courteous manner.

We keep local communities informed of our works, manage them so as to minimise disruption, and we are responsible neighbours.
