Agrevia

Agrevia is an imaginative way to create a whole new range of unusual and attractive surfacings.

Developed by Eurovia, Agrevia is a process for surface courses, which combines a hot asphalt mix and a special mechanical surface treatment to make the most of its constituent aggregates

The origin, colour, shape and grading of the aggregates used in the asphalt mix,
as well as the type of mix itself, are selected according to the end use.

Natural aggregates occur in a wide range of colours - black, white, pink, green, and many others.

Agrevia uses this variety to lend durable colour to roads. It can be used to create surfaces with a diverse appearance, texture and colour.

The thickness, at which it is applied is matched to the aggregate formulation and the loads to which the surfacing will be subjected.

Application

After installation the material’s surface binder is removed by sand blasting, grit blasting or water jetting revealing the natural colours of the aggregates.
