Our CR Journey

Our journey started some time ago, although we may not have always recognised that what we were delivering or striving for was Corporate Responsibility. In the early days we were just doing what made good business sense.

Milestones

  • H&S Management System- Development of the safety system within the organistaion
  • Environmental Management System(EMS) - Development and ISO 14001 accreditation of the EMS
  • Integrated Management System(IMS)- Incorporation of H&S, Environmental and Quality system into an integrated system
  • ISO registrations- Roll out of IMS accreditations throughout the group
  • People Policies- development of people policies
  • Community & Charity Committee- Launch of committee focussing on volunteering, community and charity support (now labelled ‘Ringway in the Community')
  • Delivering Sustainable Products and Services- Delivery of sustainable and low carbon products and services
  • CSR Policy- Development of our CR policy and strategy
  • CSR Report 2008- Launch our first CSR annual report
