In Ringway/Eurovia we are committed to developing innovative solutions to deliver the right results on our contracts.
Our approach encourages shared ideas across our contracts through Suggestion Schemes, Project Improvement Teams and Innovation Forums. A key element of our success in this area is our commitment to the EFQM Business Excellence model which ensures that each part of our business actively captures and develops improvement initiatives and ideas.
Local Innovation Forums and suggestion schemes provide our entire workforce with an opportunity to submit their ideas for improvements to the way we work, based on their direct experience of the business and the way in which it is performing.
Recognising and rewarding best practice is an important element of our approach to developing shared best practice solutions. The commitment and creativity of our employees is rewarded through our Innovation Awards, which recognise successful improvements around our business in key areas including; sustainability, health and safety, and efficiency.
Our UKAS approved Technical Centre provides technical support for testing, research and development of new products and materials. The Technical Centre provides a link to international best practice and expertise through our shareholders; Eurovia, to support the development of technical solutions to operational issues.
It is about doing what works, and sharing this with others, whilst constantly challenging the way we do things and striving for improvement.
