Footway Microsurfacing
Ringway/Eurovia can provide two micro surfacing product solutions, Gripseal and Griptex.
Gripseal is a 0-3mm or 0-5mm hand applied slurry seal for footway use.
Griptex is a higher grade material using polymer modified emulsions for added strength and durability.
Both products have variable regulating properties within the selection, based upon the degree of deformation of a structurally sound surface.
Typically a 5mm aggregate is used, however other gradings can be used to provide greater flexibility with regulating properties.
After mixing the emulsion and aggregate the slurry seal is carefully hand-applied using squeeges and lightly brushed to complete the surface texture.
