Based on a 51-week programme over a number of different phases the project, in Winthorpe near Skegness, consists of 14 estate roads that will serve the 111 affordable new homes being built on the site.
Ringway's contract also includes a section of 278 works, which will connect the new housing development to the main A52 coast road. Highway improvements to the A52 unclassified West Way and an existing housing estate will also take place. These works include the widening of the West Way and installing a signalled junction to ease congestion and make entry to the estate easier and safer.
When complete the combined infrastructure and housing contract will provide a mix of rented, shared ownership and outright sales properties to meet the high demand for affordable homes in the Skegness area.
