Ringway to transform Dover Esplanade
Leading Highway Maintenance Company, Ringway, has secured a prestigious package of work on Dover Sea Front, working for Kent County Council and the Dover Harbour Board due to commence at the beginning of march 2010 and complete at the end of June.

Leading Highway Maintenance Company, Ringway, has secured a prestigious package of work on Dover Sea Front, working for Kent County Council and the Dover Harbour Board due to commence at the beginning of March 2010 and completed at the end of June.
It is essential that this £1.63 million scheme to transform Dover Esplanade is completed before the summer season, so it required an experienced and well resourced organisation to bring together the design aspirations of the consultants and the specialist construction expertise in a short timescale. As Ringway operate the KCC highways maintenance contract this has allowed these aspirations to be met and for the project to be fast-tracked.
The scheme consisting of three main elements will enhance the look of the Dover esplanade and utilise local Kent resources. The benefit of using the existing contract rather than tender will be seen through the reduction of procurement costs and the deployment of local, experienced engineers and operational teams from Ringway.
