Ringway scoops an eighth RoSPA Gold Award

Leading highway maintenance provider Ringway, have has been awarded their eighth RoSPA Gold Award for Occupational Health and Safety, following four successive Gold Medal Awards.

David Rewlins, RoSPA Awards Manager said “Ringway has shown a commitment to protecting the health and well-being of its employees and others.  Organisations which do this deserve to have such dedication recognised and that’s where the RoSPA Awards come in.

As well as there being clear ethical reasons and legal requirements for good health and safety management, there is also a strong business case.  RoSPA is delighted to publicly honour organisations which have demonstrated their work to improve performance in this sphere”.

The Gold Medal Award is for organisations which continue to maintain a high standard of health and safety management. 

Group Health and Safety Manager, Dave Campbell, said “Since developing our Health and Safety Culture, we have made significant strides forward. In the last nine years our lost time incidents have reduced by 81.4%. This is a result of the commitment from both management and the workforce. I am proud of what has been achieved and the recognition by RoSPA to our achievements with this award”
