Ringway, one of the leading highway maintenance providers has won the prestigious Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) Technological Application award with their innovative LED Signs Solution.
In selecting Ringway as the winner the judging panel commented "Lighting signs comes at a cost and the judges were impressed by how Ringway sought to address this by integrating technologies to deliver cost and environmental benefits with this low maintenance/low energy product. Ringway have demonstrated enterprise and ingenuity, working closely with lighting design specialists and local authority clients to develop a solution with considerable wider implementation potential, which is likely to deliver significant benefits to the industry and society."
Receiving the award at a glittering ceremony at Lords cricket ground, George Daville, Regional director for Ringway Signs said Ringway Signs hard work on research and development has started to deliver and is a credit to our team at Weston-Super-Mare. Ringway employs 3,500 staff throughout the UK and has its head office based in Springfield Road, Horsham, where it employs 70 staff.
