The management of Health and Safety within our organisation is critical to ensure our business success. The way we approach this in Ringway is through top level management commitment. Our ethos is that ‘no one comes to work to be injured’ and with this in mind we make this our goal. We accept that we cannot totally eliminate risk from every aspect of our work but what we can do is manage it.
Managing Safety
Managing safety is no different to managing any other aspect of our work. It’s integral to everything we do. So we make sure we do it successfully through giving our management team the tools they need to make this happen. Anyone who is getting work done, by, with or through others in Ringway is managing people. So we train these people through our in-house Managing Safety course.
The course is externally accredited by RoSPA to give it the credibility it deserves. Over an eight year period we have run 74 courses, with over 1500 delegates in attendance. The course has also been opened up to our clients and key supply chain partners as we believe successful health and safety management benefits all our stakeholders.
