In the British Isles, winter weather can change from one extreme to another in the space of a week, a day, an hour, or even a minute. That is why at Ringway and our joint venture partners, BEAR Scotland, Ringway Jacobs and South West Highways, our winter maintenance teams have been on full alert since October ready to keep the UK’s motorways and road networks clear of ice and snow.

This year it has been a relatively mild start to winter, nevertheless, our teams are prepared for the worst and are ready to go into action 24 hours a day, seven days a week to keep the highways open and safe for road users.
