Streetprint

StreetPrint surfacing is a durable and low-maintenance alternative to traditional block paving or slabs.

Our streamlined two-stage process involves imprinting asphalt – newly laid or existing –and spraying the imprinted surface with a protective epoxy-modified acrylic coating.

We use specialist infrared heating equipment to heat the asphalt surface to approximately 150ºC before placing a woven steel template over the asphalt and pressing it into the surface using a compaction plate.

Templates can be shaped to your requirements, producing a variety of authentic paving patterns with no need for expansion joints. Our epoxy-modified acrylic paint, which seals the imprinted asphalt against water ingress, is also available in a wide range of colours.

StreetPrint’s aesthetic appeal is matched by practical and financial benefits.

Its flexible, continous surface reduces trips and also slip hazards, due to the fine aggregates incorporated in the coatings. Hard-wearing for pedestrian use, StreetPrint coatings retain their colour and can last up to five years, depending on traffic, before they are renewed.

Creating a StreetPrint solution takes about half the time of a traditionally paved finish. Fast and seamless repairs are also possible with the reheating process.

As StreetPrint coatings are water-based with no hazardous solvents, the coated asphalt remains fully recyclable.
